Kensington

I'm posting out of order, but since I can't get to editing these pictures for a few days, I thought Kensington and her mom might enjoy a sneak peek. She was so brave to walk around Myriad Gardens with me this weekend. I love little girls in coats and hats! She was such a doll and just held my hand and smiled whenever I talked to her. Her mom came SO prepared - with lots of hats, scarves, snacks, bribes and even Kensington's favorite baby doll and blanket which ended up in one of my favorite pictures so far this year. I might have more favorites once I start editing, but for now, here is a preview!

Another family with beautiful children! I think I could photograph Keely all day. She is quite a model! We walked and talked quite a bit and I really enjoyed meeting them all. They seem to get along so well! 

Sherry & kids

Another one of my favorite families. I am so far behind blogging! I was honored to take their pictures a few weeks before Christmas and gave the session to them as a gift. I don't know a more deserving family. Sherry is a single mom with five wonderful children. She is one of the most giving people I have ever met.  She is always giving her time and resources to help people both at church, around her neighborhood and even halfway across the world in Haiti. I know if Sherry tells someone that she is praying for them, she is definitely on her knees!

Baby Jamien

Awww! I love little babies! I have enjoyed getting to know this special family. This little baby was born with special hands and feet - with an extra finger on each hand and an extra toe on one of his feet. He'll have them removed pretty soon, but it was good to capture him just the way he is these first few days. Don't those little cheeks just melt your heart? Big sister Javionna adores him too.

Ava Grace

I've enjoyed watching this little baby grow up. I got to take her newborn pictures a few years ago. She always comes in such fancy little dresses! It was so fun to see her talking, walking, sliding and giggling. She has such great parents! I tried to talk them into having more Ava Graces for us to share, but I think they have all they can handle right now. Hope you had a great Christmas!

Baby Elizabeth and her brothers

It has been so long since I have posted! Forgive me for being so far behind. I shot this family more than a month ago. They are so funny with each other...they both really love each other. I love watching dads interact with their children too. Baby Elizabeth was perfect - I couldn't have asked for more!
