Emma

Isn't Emma just absolutely beautiful! She has such a sweet spirit. I think she looks so much like her big sister Abby. Both girls have the brightest blue eyes. Emma brought all the cutest outfits and hats too. Just like her best friend Kylie last week, Emma was ready for me with lots of smiles and even some cute little growls. It was great to see you again!

She was so distracted with those toes! She kept wanting to stuff them in her mouth. We got a few shots with that big mouthful.

Kylie

Kylie was ready for me this time! She was full of smiles and expressions for me. Mom had to work so hard, with tons of toys and distractions. Of course it helps that Kylie is so beautiful. I love big hats and bows too. Thanks Kylie!

Happy Birthday Teegan!

Another one of my favorite little boys turned one this month! Happy Birthday Teegan! Little Teegan surprised me by walking all over the place with his super cool tiny Nikes. It is so fun to see what these kids can accomplish between photo sessions. Teegan is just a doll. He always has some great expressions for me. Teegan was much more interested in the balloons than the cake until he figured out he could stick his feet in it and not get in trouble!

Happy Birthday Brody!

I have loved watching Brody grow up! He looks like such a little man now. He wasn't so sure about the cake and frosting, but as usual, was full of smiles and giggles for me. I got a big surprise to hear that Brody will have a baby brother in just a few weeks, so I am thrilled to get to photograph his new brother's first year as well. 

Allison

Katie's cousin, Allison (born on the same day, if you remember) was next. She is quite a bit smaller than her cousin, but just as sweet. We worked so hard but got some sweet smiles in the end. I can't believe these girls are 6 months already.

I was able to meet Katie again in Kingfisher. My kids and husband love our sessions out in Kingfisher because I drop them off at the indoor aquatic center first. Kingfisher has an awesome indoor pool! This session was super quick. Katie was very smiley and we got some great pictures fast. 

Baby Jacob - Christmas Miracle

I fell in love with this Christmas baby. Jennifer contacted me back in October to set up newborn pictures for her baby due towards the end of January. Surprise! Baby Jacob made his appearance on Christmas day instead. Jennifer said she had a great Christmas morning with her family, then went to relax and her water broke. They drove straight to the hospital and he was born not long after. What a Christmas surprise! He is absolutely perfect. 

I had so many favorites, I had a hard time narrowing them down.

I bought this Santa hat and booties at a consignment sale a few years ago, but never had the "perfect" baby to be able to use them with. You can't get any more perfect than a baby born on Christmas day!

Malissa

I had a lot of fun taking pictures of Malissa and baby Cooper (still busy growing). Baby Jay joined us for a few pictures, even though we had to trick him (let him roll tractors over mom's belly, eat candy, read a book and even finger painting.) This was my first maternity session to try finger painting. Not sure it worked the way I envisioned, but it was fun. Most of my maternity clients are first-time parents, so it was great to shoot this new family together.
