Brooklyn

Oh my! If Brooklyn's mama doesn't sign her up to model soon, she is really missing out! This little girl just turned four a couple of weeks ago and LOVED being my little model. She followed directions and poses better than most of my big kid clients. She had the most adorable outfits and some great smiles to go with it. I had a hard time choosing just a few pictures for this blog, so bear with the long post! Thanks Angie!

Ethan

Baby Ethan did such a great job for me, despite being naked and cold. He is my 15th baby boy in a row....I have no idea what happened to all the newborn girls! I loved his brown and green blanket - I might have to go find one of those for my collection. Thanks for letting me capture these first few weeks of life...

Abby & Emma

This was yet another fun session. Even though I have shot Abby & Emma several times, big sister Abby is really shy around me. I tricked her into smiling and sitting for me a few times (even though she wouldn't give me a high five) We were really trying to get Emma's nine-month pictures, but she wasn't much in a photographing mood this day. I love the pictures of the girls together. They are both incredibly beautiful. I'm sure they will be best friends someday.

Allison & Mattox

Definitely one of the best parts of being a photographer is watching kids grow up and change. We shot Allison's 9 month pictures recently, and it was not Allison who had changed as much as her big brother Mattox. He seemed so much more grown up than three months ago! He took my hand and showed me fish and other animals around the Myriad Botanical Gardens. Allison was very smiley and happy too. It was great to see them again.

Catch

This session was full of great shots. It was a great example of why PATIENCE is such an important part of newborn photography. We got about 10 pictures the first hour and more than 100 after he finally fell asleep. Catch's daddy was a baseball player and mom played volleyball...they both love sports. With the name "Catch", we just had to take pictures with his baseball-themed room decor and attempt the baseball glove picture. I'm so glad it worked (though daddy's glove has now been "christened").

Rachel & Kristen - my nieces

My poor sister....she always gets the leftovers of my business. I shot these pictures back in March, and am just now getting around to editing and posting them! I'm so sorry, Alicia! I am so in love with these girls. I love being an aunt. I love it when my little niece Kristen jumps up in my lap and wants to tell me a story or when Rachel continues to impress me with her great wisdom. They are so different from each other, but both so awesome!

Liz and Nathan

This session was especially fun for me. Since most of my clients are young children, I don't get the chance to photograph "love" as often. This couple definitely gave me lots of opportunities! They are very much in love...evident in their eyes as they looked at each other. I had to keep asking them to look at me - they had a hard time keeping their eyes (and lips) off each other. It made me smile the whole session. My husband and I started dating at their age and they really reminded me of us.

Jackson and Walker

Wow. I was a little worried about this one.I took pictures of Jackson and Walker a few years ago, but little Walker has since gotten quite shy and didn't want to have anything to do with pictures or me. When mom said she just wanted "one shot, if possible" and Walker buried his head in dad's shoulders, I thought I was really going to have my work cut out for me. Fortunately though, Walker warmed up to me and was smiling in no time. He got a big kick out of throwing sticks at me and we got some great laughs. Jackson is SO handsome and looks like a model straight out of a catalog. I really enjoyed those boys.

FACEBOOK - Current clients....if you would like a few of the photos from your session emailed to you for your facebook page, please let me know. They will be web-resolution images with my logo on them (great way to show off your babies AND your FAVORITE photographer!) You can also right-click and save the photos I post on this blog. (Just please use them only for social websites and not to reprint).
