Amelia and her parents

Yet another fun family. I loved that Corrie wanted a vintage feel to her pictures. I loved even more that baby Amelia was so happy and awesome. She even let me carry her all around. I could seriously take her home for a few days. We shot these pictures at Corrie's parents "park". They have the most beautiful yard and garden with steps, flowers, stones and pathways. It was just as pretty as the Myriad and so much more personable. I told them I would be bringing clients by every weekend. 

Cross

I hadn't taken pictures of Cross for awhile and I was amazed at how much he had grown up. He has such a vocabulary! He sat so nicely and smiled so much better than many of my big kid clients. I kept forgetting he was only two. I really had a great time photographing him.....and had so many favorites from this session. Even as the thunder rumbled over our heads, he was all smiles. Have a great year Cross!

Family

Merry Christmas! My first Christmas session this year (even though it was hot and sunny in September). They wanted to get a jump on the rush. This first picture is a season favorite so far. I've been trying to improve my silhouette techniques and just got really lucky on this one. I love that her brothers are so intently listening to her story. These kids always show each other so much love!

Happy Birthday Emma

Yet another first year ending with another favorite client family. Little Emma and her big sister have been so much fun the last year. Emma was SO happy this session. She smiled and smiled everytime I pointed my camera at her. She loved her cake and we made a big mess on the sidewalk of the Myriad Gardens (ssh!) She always has the cutest clothes too. Wish I had a little girl to wear her hand-me downs! Have a great year, Emma.

Clint and his big family

This was another fun family to catch up with. Clint (in the middle) was a great friend in high school and our youth group. He was called to the ministry and started pastoring a local church. Recently, God called him all the way to Washington. His sister/my friend Kaci orchestrated a last big family picture as a gift to their parents. It was fun to see all of them together with their kids and families. God is doing such wonderful things in their lives.

I love this playground picture. Grandma had worked so hard on this fort for the grandkids. I love that they are all doing their own thing - playing with each other. These cousins are going to miss each other!

Memphis

Whew! This little boy is really FAST! He absolutely did not want to take pictures with me, so we had to be really sneaky. Luckily, he is surrounded by parents, an uncle and grandparents who ADORE him and are willing to chase him around everywhere too. Notice a common theme in this pictures...give you a hint....it is MOTION. Every picture we took was of him running. At least he was a happy runner.

Happy Birthday Kylie!

Another one of my first year clients. It has been fun to see Kylie grow and change each session this year.....I couldn't believe she was running around all over the place.  I could also really talk to her mom for hours. I have the best clients!

Baby Steven

It feels like such a long time since I have been held such a tiny baby! I loved meeting Baby Steven and his parents on his fourth day of life. He was a perfect baby for me - letting me mold him and shape him to capture great pictures.
