Sherry and her kids...

Again, looking back through some of my favorite sessions last fall that went unblogged.....Sherry and her FIVE kids are an annual favorite. She is such a selfless woman, raising five energetic kids all by herself. She still has so much love to give to others. I honestly don't know how she does it by herself. Her heart is in Haiti....she has made many mission trips there, and is now devastated with all the destruction there. She is returning in a few weeks and I know she is both really excited and nervous at the same time.

I have a lot of favorites from this session, but many of them are of Levi. He is such a funny, compassionate, crazy kid. I think a lot of people misunderstand him, but I see SO much potential. God has a special plan for that boy!

Drake

What else can I say about Drake? He is a wonderfully curious, talkative, energetic little boy who turned seven and with a birthday comes more pictures. He wasn't excited about that idea at first, but after a few comments about burping, tooting and other gross boy things, he warmed right up to me. What is it about boys this age? My own son gives me tons of practice.... thanks Drake!

Baby Finn

My first newborn of 2010! I could have just held this little baby for hours. I really enjoyed meeting his mom and dad a few weeks ago. There are some clients you just "click" with and become instant friends. These were definitely those kind of people! Finn is definitely a well-loved baby. He was so good for me, even when I kept putting all my new silly hats on his head and making him lay in bowls and on chairs. He had the coolest nursery with hand-painted art from his aunt. Hope you have a great year, baby Finn!

Heather and her family

One of my favorite people in the world.....Heather has been my best friend since 7th grade. My husband was her husband's roommate in college and we set them up together. She has been with me through every major event in my life and all the teeny tiny non-events too. I love photographing her family every Christmas. Her kids are just adorable. Julia is quite a drama queen (or character, as she refers to herself.)

New Blog

I finally figured out the redesign on this blog. Yay! If there is anyone out there still checking up on the photography business, I'm finally ready to continue blogging. I've got quite a few sessions from just before Christmas that I'd love to share. Thanks for your patience. Enjoy!
