Cousins

Tired of seeing this family yet? I'm sure not! I've loved being a part of each of these family's pictures this year, but wasn't sure I was looking forward to shooting them ALL at the SAME TIME again. Since we had a crazy time last fall and have added two more babies to the mix since then I was a little worried.  I shouldn't have been. The weather was awesome and the kids were all in a great mood. Lauren's daddy Chris was HILARIOUS! I couldn't see him since he was behind my camera, but there was a lot of jumping around and funny noises going on back there. The kids kept laughing at an imaginary squirrel in his shirt. I'm telling you, Chris, if you want an extra job, I could really use an assistant!

I had to include these next two shots because they make me smile. Lauren and Mattox are such good friends and such copycats. They kept jumping up and landing on the big boys' backs (you'd never know from the big boys' faces - they are such great kids!) and then just laughing and laughing. I wish you could hear the sounds of their giggles!

Alex and Joah

This was a great family I met through Rob's work. Alex and Joah were a lot of fun, though Alex didn't know what to think about me. We took these pictures out at Martin Nature Park. It is so beautiful this time of year! I am loving the fall leaves and warm colors.

Anna and Ella

I fell in love with Anna and her little sister Ella. I can't believe Anna is only three. She sat so well and had such an adorable smile. I loved the picture she colored and mailed to me - all the way from Texas!  I also loved the girls' clothes so much I went to Gymboree and bought Natalie some matching leggings for our family pictures next week.

Grayson, Seth & Duke

I love this family! Each time I photograph them, we discover something new about each other. This time I was a little apprehensive when they asked me to photograph them with their family dog. I haven't had a great track record with animals....my last shoot with a "happy" horse didn't go so well. Plus, he is absolutely the biggest lab I have ever seen - twice the size of little Seth. I had no reason to be nervous - the dog (and the kids) did awesome. Duke is very well behaved and listened so well to Roger. I wish my labs would have been that good. We might have kept them!

Kylie

Kylie had the prettiest eyes and beautiful skin. She fussed a little, but we tricked her by laying her on her back. She thought she was just going to play for a few minutes and we snapped the pictures before she knew what was going on. Didn't get a ton of pictures, but we got a few smiles!

Haley, Tyler & Benjamin

I had a great time with this family. I hadn't seen baby Haley since she was a few weeks old. She has gotten so adorable and has very kissable cheeks! Her big brothers did great and tolerated my endless questions and requests.

Brylynn

I enjoyed catching up with Brylynn and her parents again. Brylynn was one of my very first clients two years ago. She was in her mama's tummy for our first session. She wasn't sure of what to think of me - especially when I tried to balance her pumpkin on my head while I was shooting and it fell off the bridge into the water 20 feet below. Of course, it was floating, so she kept talking about it. We had to distract her for awhile so she would forget about it, but while we were walking back through the bridge on our way out, she took her other pumpkin and pitched it over the side too! I'm sure those 3-foot catfish really enjoyed those two pumpkins!

This picture of Brylynn on dad's cell phone cracks me up and reminds me of my Natalie. She always talks to people with the cell phone on her eye, and then twists her eyes around to "look" at who she is talking to.

I am 0 for 2 on Halloween pictures so far this year. Both babies have screamed like crazy the minute those costumes went on.

FACEBOOK - Current clients....if you would like a few of the photos from your session emailed to you for your facebook page, please let me know. They will be web-resolution images with my logo on them (great way to show off your babies AND your FAVORITE photographer!) You can also right-click and save the photos I post on this blog. (Just please use them only for social websites and not to reprint).
